Mount Qingcheng is the main scenic area of the World cultural heritage ‘Mount Qingcheng—Dujiangyan irrigation system’. It is a national key cultural relics protection unit, a famous national key scenic spot and a national AAAAA-level tourist scenic spot. As the birthplace of Taoism, Mount Qingcheng is regarded as one of the holy lands of Tianshi Taoism, one of the top ten fairy lands in China, one of the four Taoist mountains. It  one of the top ten famous spots in Chengdu.

Mount Qingcheng is located in the southwest of Dujiangyan City, Chengdu City, and 68 kilometers way to Chengdu city, 10 kilometers to Dujiangyan Irrigation System. The scenic area covers an area of 200 square kilometers. The highest peak is Laojun Pavilion at an altitude of 1,260 meters. Mount Qingcheng is divided into Front Mountain and Back Mountain. The peaks are surrounded by undulating trees and lush forests. It enjoys the reputation of “Mt. Qingcheng is secluded in the world”.
