On June 8, 2023, accompanied by relevant personnel of the 2023 Chengdu Worldcon organizing committee, Ben Yalow, co-chairman of the 2023 Chengdu Worldcon, Dave McCarty, head of the Hugo Award Selection Committee, and Helen Montgomery, president of the 2022 ChiCon 8, inspect the transportation, accommodations, catering and other security works.
