Recently, the 2023 Chengdu Worldcon officially released the “The Stars and the Sea” co-creation proposal and the "One Hundredth Light-second" plan, two of the “Three Major Plans” for the convention. The plans have received widespread attention from sci-fi fans, who are eager to join us to create, prepare, and share the global feast of science fiction. Many sci-fi fans are also anticipating the details and benefits of the third plan.

Today, the "Galaxy Echoes" promotional plan is unveiled.

If you are followed by a significant number of sci-fi fans and are willing to contribute to the promotion of the 2023 Chengdu Worldcon, the organizing committee welcomes you to spread the voice of the convention through online and offline activities with videos, music, texts, and images, etc.

If the total online views of your promotional work exceed 300,000 or your offline activities gather more than 60 participants, please contact the committee and register by submitting your supporting materials, including relevant data screenshots, the sign-in sheet, and photos, to membership@chengduworldcon.com. Subsequently, the committee will review the content, form, mode, and effectiveness of your submission based on the principle of "first come, first reviewed" and select 100 participants for the "Galaxy Echoes" promotional plan.  

In addition to receiving the walk-in reservation channel for the Worldcon opening ceremony and the Hugo Awards ceremony, each of the 100 participants will also receive one offline admission for the Worldcon, a 2023 Chengdu Worldcon mascot doll, and a commemorative badge. Furthermore, the names of the participants and their submitted materials will be edited into a short video, which will be played during the convention.

At this moment, we look up at the same starry sky, united in anticipation of the grand event ahead. Under the heavens, we are looking forward to traveling with you.

*Note: Due to the limited venue capacity and other factors, the World Science Fiction Convention generally sets a maximum number of on-site attendees for key events such as the Hugo Awards ceremony and the opening ceremony. This year, if the number of people buying offline admissions to participate in the convention exceeds the maximum capacity of the venue for key events, the organizing committee will draw lots to determine the on-site attendance slots. The detailed process will be notified separately by the organizing committee.
