Site Selection

Chengdu Worldcon will conduct the election to select the site of the 2025 Worldcon.

To be eligible to vote, you must have a WSFS (formerly called Supporting) Membership in Chengdu Worldcon in 2023. Ballots cast for memberships held by non-natural persons, such as “Guest of” memberships, clubs, toys, et cetera, may only be voted as “No Preference.”

Please note that Virtual, Attending Supplements, and Day Pass Memberships do NOT include voting rights unless you also have a WSFS membership.

At the time you vote, you will pay an additional amount called the Advance WSFS Membership fee, which is a WSFS membership in the Worldcon, regardless of which site wins the election. This money goes to the winning Worldcon bid regardless of who wins or how you voted.
