The 2023 Chengdu Worldcon is put on by volunteers, and aims to recruit additional volunteers to help run the convention. Volunteers will be trained and assigned to different divisions according to whatever they are interested in and capable of handling.
Volunteers are needed throughout the convention. If you wish to volunteer, please let us know if there is a specific area you wish to help in, or avoid, or if you are interested in multiple possibilities.
The convention will need volunteers from August to September 2023, about 7 days before and 3 days after the event.
By law, all the volunteer should be 18 years old or older, and volunteers who are good at communicating and coordinating, especially those who can communicate in two or more languages, particularly Communicative Mandarin, are preferred.
We are especially looking for volunteers who have previous volunteering experiences in international events, and/or who will be available for the entire event, and/or who have the skills that are considered helpful in the preparation of the convention.
